I took the first photo in this set with a slow shutter speed while in the car on the way to Boston. The slow shutter speed creates light trails from the city lights and blurs the signs on the highway. The second photo in the set was taken with a fast shutter speed. I had Meghan flip her hair around with continuous shooting was on, I then chose the one that I liked most. I enjoyed this one because it exhibited what was necessary for the assignment while preserving the mood of that day. The shutter speed was set to 1/500. I had her stand off to the side so I could capture the sky and the grass to show how nice of a day it was. I purposely picked a photo where her smile was visible because it portrayed the mood and makes it a happy photo. Another photo I took that I found exhibits motion with an interesting effect is the last photo in my set, which is confusing without explanation. To take this picture, I sat in the middle of my room on a spinning office chair. I set my camera to a slow shutter speed and spun around and when I looked at my camera, this is what I saw. The words coming across the photo were from the television. I found it interesting that the rest of the photo is in focus (to an extent, you can make it out but it's not perfectly clear) as the words trail across.
