My horror story illustration was shot inside. The story took place inside of someone's home, so I never had to take any outside shots. I shot all of the photos in black and white to give it a cold and spooky feeling, and also adjusted contrast in order to darken them and make them appear even more horrifying. I used a slow shutter and originally had told the subject to put their hand on the door, but they moved their hand up because they thought the photo was over. It made it look like the person was slamming the door while also locking it. The use of slow shutter in multiple photos creates a sense of panic, which is present throughout the story. All of my photos are taken from a literal standpoint, rather than abstract. I think I was successful in illustrating the story by using the use of blur to portray the panic and fear. If I were to do something differently, I would redo the sixth image to match up with the hand/arms in the 3rd image in the set.
