For my pattern and texture assignment I chose to take photos of my cats paw and face, flowers, blades of grass, tree bark, and a coffee holder, which was the only manmade object I shot for this project. The majority of my pictures were taken up close to the subject. I didn't fill the frame of all of the photos, some have empty space on the sides (like the cat paw and the hands with the flowers) or empty space within (such as the photo with the coffee holder). I took most of my photos from head on angles, except for the one of the coffee holder which I took shooting down onto the subject. While taking these photos I didn't consider the rule of thirds when composing my shots. I think the photo I took that illustrates rhythm the most would be the second photo of the coffee holder. The shape of the holders guide your eye in circles throughout the picture, spiraling downward.
